William "Will" Rowe Holmes, Jr.

Entered into rest Tuesday, January 28, 2025, Mr. William “Will” Rowe Holmes, Jr., 58, husband of 20 years to Elizabeth Human Holmes. Mr. Holmes was born in Augusta, GA to Henrietta Griffin Holmes and the late William Rowe Holmes, Sr. He was a pipe fitter by trade, and he enjoyed fishing, golfing, and watching the Atlanta Braves, Georgia Bulldogs and the Atlanta Falcons. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Family members in addition to his wife include children: Alexis Taylor Holmes, Reagan Elizabeth Holmes, and Wyatt Rowe Holmes; mother: Henrietta Griffin Holmes; sisters: Pamela Holmes Simpson (Scott) and Tara Lynne Holmes; brother: Todd Coleman Holmes; nieces: Melissa Simpson (Chris), Amber Bentley (Wes), Summer Sweitzer (Keisha), Caasi Simpson; great nieces: Sumera Garnett, Emerson “Emmie” Bentley; great nephews: Gunnar Bentley, Derrick “DJ” Garnett, and Jeffrey “JB” Bentley; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; special family friend, Sherree Dzikiewicz. A celebration of life will be held at a later time.
