Bill, age, 81, of Pittsburgh, PA died peacefully at Augusta Gardens, Sunday afternoon, December 1, 2013. Bill was a loving and deeply devoted husband to Regina, his loving wife of 60 years. He also, was a caring and committed father and valued family time whether at home or on the many camping trips taken with his wife, daughters and sons. He is survived by his loving wife, Regina (Amrhein), along with his two daughters Gemma Kolosvary Frock, Kathlyn and daughter-in-law Donna Jean. His four sons Matthew, John, Peter and Bruce and his son-in-law Jim Frock. He will be great be greatly missed by his grandson Peter Joseph (PJ) Kolosvary and his mother Nancy. Bill was predeceased by his daughter, Deborah Ann and grandson Michael Bruce. Bill is a veteran of the United States Army and worked for over 30 years as a Stationary Engineer in Pittsburgh, PA. Upon his retirement he and his wife enjoyed many trips which involved fishing, hiking and their hobby of taking photographs of light houses of the East Coast and Great Lakes. Bill was a deeply devoted Catholic and member of St. Elizabeth of Hungary in Pittsburgh, PA and St. Teresa of Avila, Martinez, GA. Despite his “tough exterior” Bill had a enormous heart and was always willing to give a helping hand to a family member, friend or neighbor. He will be forever missed by his family and friends.
