Vernell Carswell King

Mrs. Vernell C. King Thomson, Ga., entered into rest Monday, March 30, 2015 at The Place @ Deans Bridge. Ms. Vernell Carswell King. Ms. King a native of Swainsboro, Ga., lived most of her life in Augusta and the past 30 years in Thomson, Ga. She was a student of the bible and attended the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at Blythe Community Center, Blythe, Ga., at 2:00 pm. With Mr. Erick Driggers speaking. Ms. King is survived by her sons; Thomas Santino, James Carswell, Daryal Carswell and Tony Carswell. Daughters; Vivien DuBose, Elaine Marchant and Caroline Hartfield. Brother; Dorsey Peebles, sister; Joann James. Twenty one grandchildren and twenty two great grandchildren, seven great great grandchildren.
