Mrs. Verna Mae Crook Homemaker Lincolnton, Ga., entered into rest September 7, 2014 at Doctors Hospital. Mrs. Verna Mae Crook wife of the late Mr. John Lee Crook. Graveside services will be conducted Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at Hillcrest Memorial Park with Rev. Dan Fernandez officiating. Mrs. Crook a native of Cowpens, SC., has live in the Lincolnton and Augusta area since 1975. She was a homemaker and a member of Morningside Baptist Church Lincolnton, Ga. She was a member of the Garden Club and the Senior Center She is survived by her son, Gary Crook. Daughter, Cindy Leverette (Judson). Four sisters, Juanita, Sylvia, Jean and Dib. Three grandchildren, E.J. Everette, Brandon Crook, Holly Crook. The family will receive friends at the funeral home this evening (Tuesday) from 6:00-8:00 pm.
