Vermell Hulett Durrance of Augusta, Georgia, entered into rest on April 7, 2026 at the age of 79.

Vermell was raised in Hephzibah, GA where she graduated from Hephzibah High School in 1967. She then graduated from Augusta Area Technical School in 1973. She earned her Beautician's License. She later made her career at Kendall Augusta Plant until her retirement.

Vermell was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur "Pee Wee" Durrance, her parents Clifford and Katherlin Etterlee Hulett, and her brothers Cliff, Gary and Tommy Hulett. Her memory will be cherished by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Vermell loved the mountains and traveling. She never met a stranger. Her warmth and kindness were touched by everyone that she encountered.

She is deeply loved and will be so dearly missed.

A celebration of Vermell's life will be held on May 16th at 11 AM at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services 3507 Wrightsboro Rd, Augusta, GA 30909. Family and friends are invited to gather, share memories and honor a life so beautifully lived.
