Timothy Andrew Jacobs, Sr.

Mr. Timothy Andrew “Andy” Jacobs Sr., 65, Baptist, entered into rest September 5, 2017. Loving husband of Prudence Miceli Jacobs. Andy, a native of Decatur, Alabama, has lived in the Augusta area since 1969. He proudly served in the US Army in Vietnam and worked in Civil Service at Fort Gordon and in Germany as a Technical Specialist for the Department of Defense. Funeral service will be held Saturday, September 9, 2017 at Bellevue Memorial Gardens Chapel with Reverend Jonathan Melchior officiating. Interment will follow at Bellevue with Military Honors. Additional survivors include his son Joseph Jacobs, father George O. Jacobs Jr., mother Helen Myrtle Alred Jacobs, brothers Mark Jacobs and Scott Jacobs (Deborah), sister Lisa Goldstein (Mark) and five grandchildren; Joseph, Gregory, Carsen, Logan, and Khloe. He is preceded in death by his son, Timothy Andrew Jacobs Jr.
