Tiarra Tatianna Boelter

September 12, 1981 — January 11, 2026

Harlem

Tiarra Tatianna Boelter was a young, beautiful, and deeply creative soul whose light touched every place she called home. She was born on September 12, 1981, in Olympia Fields, Illinois, to her loving mother, Alesia Deneen Boelter and her father, Derrail Scott. Her early years were spent in Chicago, Illinois, until the age of four, where her journey then led her to Tucson, Arizona to spend formative years with her nurturing family.

At seventeen, in order to pursue her college studies, Tiarra embraced life in Honolulu, Hawaii—a place that reflected her vibrant spirit, candid beauty, feel for discovery, and a deep connection to the outdoors that eventually embarked to a path of love. Leaving the shores of Hawaii behind, Tiarra took a courageous step into her future by moving to Murfreesboro, Tennessee, where she began her first professional career. By the age of twenty-four, her path ultimately led her to Grovetown, Georgia—a place she would call home and where she built the life many of us came to know and cherish.

On the evening of January 11, 2026, at 7:57 pm, in Harlem, Georgia, after fighting bravely and with unwavering strength through her battle with cancer, Tiarra gently transitioned embracing eternal light—her courage, love, and smile forever remembered.

Tiarra’s brilliance extended beyond her outdoor spirit and into her academic achievements. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Waukegan High School, earned a Bachelor’s degree in Finance with a minor in Marine Biology from Hawaii Pacific University, and later obtained her Master of Business Administration from the same institution, graduating with distinguished honors. She later obtained her Project Management Professional certification, which advanced her career and led her into positions she fulfilled with excellence, care, and dedication. Tiarra brought intelligence, creativity, and grace to everything she did, along with a warmth and kind humor that left a lasting impression on everyone she worked with.

Tiarra served in diverse Human Resource capacities for multiple corporations in the commercial industry and held a range of Project Manager positions with the US Government. Her final role was an IT Deputy Program Manager at ManTech supporting the Department of Defense.

During her vibrant youth, Tiarra poured her heart into singing, track and basketball. A talented performer, she also graced the stage in many plays directed by her mother.

It was in Hawaii, during her college years, that Tiarra met her husband, Jaumaka Lyons, beginning an extended journey of a twenty-four year partnership and with twelve years of love and marriage that would shape the family she so cherished. Tiarra embraced motherhood with profound joy, boundless love, and unwavering devotion. From the moment she became a mother, she poured her heart and soul into raising her children—her son, Zeyon Elijah Lyons, whom she lovingly guided from the age of three, and her daughters, Zoe Denetta Lyons and Zauna Anneva Lyons. She was their advocate, protector, and champion, nurturing their dreams, celebrating their successes, and offering comfort in every struggle. Her love was steady, warm, and radiant, a source of strength and inspiration that shaped their lives in countless ways. She truly meant the world to them, and though her presence has passed from this life, her love and spirit will continue to guide, nurture, and inspire them always.

Tiarra was preceded by her grandparents William Donald Boelter and Reverend Anna Thelca Boelter. Tiarra is survived by her devoted mother, Alesia Deneen Boelter; her son, Zeyon Elijah Lyons, and his wife, Desiree Lashea Lyons; her daughters, Zoe Denetta Lyons and Zauna Anneva Lyons; and a loving circle of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will forever hold her in their hearts.

My Missy Moo,
I know His wings are carrying you and enfolding you now.
Your Ma, Sia, loving you always.
