Thomas Caswell, 76, better known as Tom or Boz, of Augusta, GA, passed away on August 6, 2026 at the VA Medical Center in Augusta, GA.

Tom was born in Utica, NY to Howard and Doris (Skane) Caswell on March 3, 1950 and received his education in Utica schools.

He worked most of his career as a Warehouse and Sales Associate for Englewood Electrical Supply. Tom proudly served in the Marines during the Vietnam War.

Tom was an avid men’s softball player for many years. He later transitioned his passion for the sport to coaching girl’s youth softball for 15+ years.

Tom is survived by his children, brother and sister-in-law, several nieces and nephews, as well as many other family and friends. He is preceded in death by his older brother, mother and father.

The family of Thomas Caswell wishes to extend our sincerest thanks and appreciation to the doctors and nurses, especially in the Spinal Cord Unit and the Critical Care Unit, at Charlie Norwood Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Augusta, GA, as well as the therapy group from Trinity Care and home help from Caring Hands. The endless efforts, devotion and care given to him throughout his journey will never be forgotten!

A celebration of life service will be held from 5p-7p on Wednesday, September 2, 2026 at FairHaven Funeral Home. Military Honors will begin the service, otherwise please feel free to come at your convenience during that time.
