Taylor Marie Reese

Taylor Marie Reese, 33, of Martinez, passed away on March 11, 2026, in Augusta, GA.

Taylor was born in Augusta to Jeantte Whaley and Randy Reese on December 5th, 1992. She went to school at Evans High School and graduated from Augusta Technical College with a degree in Cosmetology.

Taylor brought lightness and wonder wherever she went, the kind of spirit that made ordinary days feel a little more magical. At 33, she had already woven an extraordinary circle of friends and family who were drawn to her warmth, her whimsy, and her gift for making people feel deeply seen and loved. Her smile was contagious, her imagination boundless, and her heart open to everyone she met. Though her time was far too short, the joy she scattered so freely will live on in the countless lives she brightened.

Taylor is preceded in death by her Great-grandmother, Dorothy (John) Peebles; Grandfather, Randy Reese Sr.; and Grandmother, Beverly Whaley.

Taylor is survived by her parents, Jeanette (Daryl) Whaley and Randy (Jessica) Reese; Sisters, Brittany (Corey) Neal, Sarah Fowler, and Meghan (Travis) Flury; Nieces and nephews, Cash, Lydiah, Forest, Ryder, Teagan, Millie, and Deaton; Grandparents, Vickie Reese, Ed Brown, and William Whaley; Aunts, Dorie Newman, Tammie Smith, and Lynn (James) Weathers; Cousins, Steffany (Justin) Epps, David Weathers, Reese and Callie Anne Newman and Abbie and Allie Smith; Godparents, Robert and Karen Odom; and Godsister, Madison Odom.
