Tammy Lynn Gantt Foraker, 58, of Thomson, Georgia, entered into rest on June 10, 2026, at her home, surrounded by her loving family.
Tammy was born in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, on February 15, 1968, to the late Susan “Lynn” Hinshaw and Wayne Gantt. She spent much of her life in Eastover, North Carolina, and was married to Scott Foraker for more than 25 years. In 2010, she moved to Thomson and proudly called it home for the remainder of her life.
Tammy was a devoted mother and beloved Mamaw who was always there when her family needed her. She was a dedicated employee of Gavin's IGA for many years and was known for her strong work ethic, kindness, and willingness to help others. Her greatest joy in life was watching her children and grandchildren grow and thrive.
She also enjoyed spending time with her beloved fur babies and working puzzles. Tammy will be remembered for her loving heart, unwavering support, and the deep love she shared with her family and friends.
Tammy is survived by her three children, Ashley (Steven) Byrd, Casey (Sam) Gilmer, and Shelby (William) Wagner; her cherished grandchildren, Abigail, Cassidy, Ryan, Toni Kay, LeAnn, William, Jax, and Zachary; her loving aunts, Zeta Price and Pat Snow; and many other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.
The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
