She worked for the Richmond County School System for eight years before continuing her career with Circle K, where she served as a Senior Customer Service Representative for 22 years. Through her work, Susan touched countless lives with her warm spirit, strong work ethic, and genuine care for those around her.
Above all, Susan was known for her generous heart and the love she gave so freely. She had a special gift for making others feel valued and remembered—whether through thoughtful conversations, quiet acts of kindness, or the handmade crafts she lovingly created and shared during the holidays. She cherished time with her family, especially baking birthday cakes and celebrating life’s special moments together.
Susan was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Bertha Minor, and her beloved son, Jason Donald Reed.
She is lovingly remembered by her son, Marc Reed; her daughter, Sabrina (Chris) King; her sister, Mary King; and her three granddaughters, Savannah, Madison, and Blakely, who brought her immense pride and joy. She is also survived by her nephews, Andrew and Matthew, along with many extended family members and dear friends who will miss her deeply.
