Sun Ja Hovatter

Sun Ja Hovatter, 82, passed away on June 2, 2022 following an extended illness. She was born in Hwanghai-do, Korea to the late Yung Choon Lee and Im Son Choi. Augusta has been her home for the last 50 years. She was loved by all who knew her. She is preceded in death by her husband Jack Rodger Hovatter. She is survived by her daughter Wenona Jones (Ray), son Martin Hovatter (Amanda), grandchildren Daniel Francis, Zack Hovatter and Christy Phillips and 4 great grandchildren as well as beloved nieces and nephews Kathy Sok, Ron Lee, Rick Williams and Robert Williams. We would like to give special thanks to the staff Harrington Park and Affenis Hospice for all their care and compassion. There will be a graveside service at Hillcrest Memorial Park on Tuesday June 7th at 10:00 am.
