Stanley L. Sams

Stanley L. Sams, 80, entered into rest after a brief illness, Thursday, July 27, 2017 at Aiken Regional Medical Center, Aiken, SC. He was a loving husband and father who loved his family. Mr. Sams a native of Elizabethton, TN, was a retired commercial carpenter and a member of Mt. Lebanon Christian Church in Barnwell, SC, he was an avid Gardner, Squirrel & Coon Hunter. Member of the Edisto River Coon Club and enjoyed playing golf. Survivors include his wife, Brenda Jean Sams; son, Tim Sams; daughters, Debbie Leonard (Kevin); Becky Carrier (Tim); sisters, Launa Merritt; Trula Fortner; Louise Renfro and Selma Perry. Five grandchildren, Madeline Sams; Emmalee Sams; Megan Stidham; Amanda Carrier and Eric Carrier and one great grandchild, Kenzie Stidham.
