Hephzibah, Ga. – Mr. Ryan Raymond Verdi died unexpectedly, at his residence, on Tuesday, December 9, 2008. He was 33 years old. The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 13, 2008 from 11:00 am until 12:30 p.m. at The Poteet Funeral Homes, 3465 Peach Orchard Road.The funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, December 13, 2008 at 12:30 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Rev. Ken Wilson will officiate. Ryan was born in Ashtabula, Ohio.He was employed with Ennis Dudley Lawncare. Ryan was a beloved husband, father, son, and brother. Ryan is survived by his wife, Brenda Ferguson; his parents, Larry R. Verdi of Ohio and Cindy L. Marable of Hephzibah; son, Vaughn A. Verdi; daughters, Haley A. Verdi, and Maddison A. Hatfield; Grandmother, Jeanette Burgess of Ohio; sister, Sarah N. Pietz of Hephzibah; brother, Ty A. Verdi of Hephzibah, and half sisters, Haley and Kylene Verdi both of Ohio; nieces and nephews, Kayla M. Carswell, Christian A. Verdi, and Brendon A. Verdi; aunts and uncles, Kelly Burgess, Scott Burgess, Jimmy Burgess, Tommy Verdi, and Marci Verdi; his cousin, Frank Verdi.
