Roy Stanley Samundsen

Roy Stanley Samundsen, 96, of Aiken, South Carolina, passed away peacefully at home on November 5, 2025. Born and raised in Patchogue, New York, Roy dedicated his life to service and family. He proudly retired from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers after a distinguished career. In retirement, he enjoyed many happy years in Cape Coral, Florida, where he loved traveling, exploring new places, and spending time with those he cherished most. Roy will be remembered for his kindness, humor, and unwavering devotion to his loved ones. He is survived by his son Richard and daughter-in-law Lillian, grandchildren Sarah Lucille and Richard Roy and wife Jennie Joe, and great-grandchildren Roy Bowman and Nathaniel Joseph. His memory will live on forever.
