Robert J. Evancic

Robert J. Evancic, 74, of Martinez, GA passed away peacefully on March 14, 2026 with family and friends at his bedside.

Robert was born in Cleveland, OH on September 25, 1951 to Norman and Ruth Evancic. He married Linda Evancic on October 13, 1995 in North Augusta, SC.

He was self-employed for most of his life doing ceramic tile, remodeling and enjoyed many hobbies.

He was a faithful member of Journey Community Church in Evans, GA.

Robert is preceded in death by both parents, Norman and Ruth Evancic and granddaughter, Briana Hinson.

Robert is survived by his wife, Linda Evancic; brother, Doug (Beverly) Evancic; sister, Carol (Jeff) Kirkpatrick; two daughters, Veronica Lawrence and Renee Hinson and two sons, Guy and James Caruthers. He was a proud grandpa to seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

No arrangements have been finalized but the family is planning a celebration of life on his birthday, September 25, 2026.
