Nellie Fay Grubbs

Nellie Fay Grubbs, age 75, of Augusta,Ga passed away peacefully in her home. She was born on Nov.3,1949 in Louisville,Ga. She joins her parents Willie and Lois Scott, siblings Thelma Prickett and Tommy Scott, and daughter Penelope Craig in heaven.

She leaves on this Earth her husband Michael Grubbs Sr., sister Christine Scott, children Claudia Ready, Steven Stewart (Elizabeth Stewart), Michael Grubbs Jr. (Heather Grubbs), Richard Grubbs (Julie Collins), and Emily Grubbs, grandchildren Donny Skinner, Tiffany Harris (John Harris), Melissa Ready (James Phoenix), Christoper Collins (Taylor Collins), Christian Collins (Gabrielle Flakes), Mary Elizabeth McNeely, and Eleanor Grubbs, and many more great grandchildren. 

Nellie was a loving woman with a spit-fire personality. She loved many things but her favorite was lighthouses. On Tuesday April 1st she became the light of the lighthouse guiding her family through this time of grief. She was a very loved member of her family and will be missed dearly
