Monica Alicia Mathis, 50, entered into rest February 2, 2018 at her residence, wife of Larry Joe Mathis. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at 11:00 am at Bellevue Memorial Gardens Chapel with Reverend Rich Bowen officiating, burial to follow at Bellevue. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 5:00-7:00 pm. Monica a life long resident of Augusta was a homemaker. Additional survivors include, daughter Laycee Silas (David); mother Helen Hartley Livingston (Gene); maternal grandmother; Elsie Sherrod; brother Caesar Forbes (Laura); step brother Daniel Livingston (Kim); sister Stacy Brewer (Robert); grandchildren Andrew, Wesley and Owen Silas; nieces and nephews, Bailey, Joshua Brewer; Darin, Jessica Krueger. Preceded in death is her father Jerry Forbes and grandson; Kohen.
