Mildred Louise Janes

Mildred Louise Janes, 82, of Lincolnton, GA passed away on January 14, 2026 in Lincolnton.

Mildred Louise Janes was born at University Hospital to Theodore and Evelyn Wise on November 29, 1943. She went to school at Tubman in Augusta. She married Curtis Stephen Janes on July 10, 1960, in Aiken, SC.

She worked as a floral designer for the floral department at Kroger for 10 years and the Winn Dixie floral department for another 10 years.

She loved to bowl and bowled in many bowling leagues. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Mildred was preceded in death by her father, Theodore Wise; mother, Evelyn Wise; son, Mark Janes; sister, Ann Henderson; brothers, Bill and Sam Wise and niece, Sharon Bellamy.

Mildred is survived by her beloved husband of 65 years, Curtis Janes; daughter, Julie (Wayne) Logan; sons, Christoper (Kathy) Janes, Andrew (Morgan) Janes and Sammy Janes; brother, Bob Wise; granddaughters, Kaleigh Johnson, Jessica Janes, Stephanie Sartain and Emily Bonham; grandsons, Stephen Logan, Cameron Logan, Eric Janes, Colby Janes, Austin King, Taylor Janes, Parker Janes and Chris Bonham-Janes, great-granddaughters, Kalynn Bargeron, McKenna Logan, Kenley Johnson, Lively Logan, Esme Sartain and great-grandsons, Bennett Johnson, Grady Logan, Banks Logan, Tate Logan and Oliver Sartain.
