Melvin "Mel" Roy Kohli

Mr. Melvin “Mel” Roy Kohli, 66, of Augusta, GA, passed away on Thursday, February 5, 2015 at his residence. Born in Perrysburg, OH, he was the son of the late Lester Kohli and Joy Elaine Bodary Sizemore. Melvin moved to Augusta in 1969.He enjoyed hunting, motor cycles, NASCAR, and being outdoors. He was retired handyman. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Donald Kohli. He is survived by his wife, Paula Bowling Kohli, children, Buffie (Gary) Randolph, Silverdale, WA, Donald (Allison) Beasley, Winnweiler, Germany, Delora Beasley, Augusta, GA, sister, Dawn (John) Walden, Madison, AL, seven grandchildren, and one great grandchild on the way. Memorial services will be held on Thursday (today), February 12, 2015 at 3pm in The Poteet Funeral Home Chapel, 3465 Peach Orchard Rd, Augusta, GA. Interment will be private.
