Augusta, GA Maydell J. Boyd, of Augusta, passed away Saturday, June 29, 2013. She is survived by her children; Jackie Walton of Augusta, GA., and Stephen L. Boyd of Louisville, KY.; 2grandchildren, Joey Walton and Monyca Henderson and 2 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, James Boyd, Jr.; 3 sisters and 2 brothers. Family will receive friends Friday 6:30 pm to 7 pm at The Poteet Funeral Home, 3465 Peach Orchard Rd., Augusta, GA., 30906, with a Memorial Service to follow at 7 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Arthritis Research Association.
