Mary Ann Pratt Homschek

Mary Ann Pratt Homschek, 72, of Augusta,GA , passed away on July 8, 2026 in Augusta, GA.

Mary was born in Vienna, Austria to Hermine Bandion Pratt and Dudley Pratt on December 1,1953. She went to school at Butler High School. She married Alan Homschek on April 26, 1980 in Aiken. She graduated from Butler High School.

She worked as a secretary and dispatcher for Richmond County Animal Control for 25 years. Before animal control, she worked as a waitress at the Patridge Inn and Cypress Lounge in the 70's.

Mary is preceded in death by her father, Dudley Pratt; her mother, Hermine Bandion Pratt; her brother, Dalton Pratt and her son, Christopher James Watkins.

Mary is survived by her husband, Alan Homschek, Sr, of Augusta, GA; her son, Alan Homschek, Jr. (Crystal Gomez), of Augusta, GA; her sister, Carol Pratt Durden, of Beech Island, SC; her grandchildren, Lillian Gomez-Homschek, of Augusta, GA, and Christopher Homschek, of Augusta, GA.
