Marjorie Ruth Grant, 91, of Harlem, GA, passed away peacefully on October 24, 2025.
Born on March 7, 1934, in Ocala, FL, to Alonzo and Pearl Smith Burnett, Marjorie lived a life rooted in faith, family, and service. She dedicated over 30 years to the Columbia County School District as a school bus driver, where she touched the lives of countless children and families with her warmth and kindness.
Marjorie was a devoted member of the community and found great joy in sharing her faith in Jehovah. Her unwavering spirit and compassionate heart left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Joseph Grant, and her sons, Benjamin Dixon and Maurice Grant.
Upon her passing, Marjorie was surrounded by her loving daughters, Joanne Eaves and Pearlie Ann King (Talmadge); her cherished grandchildren, Tiffany Taylor-Williams (Ryan), Lawrence Libetti (Marisol), and Ebone’ King; and her adored great- grandchildren, who brought her immense pride and joy.
A memorial service celebrating Marjorie’s life will be held at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 5587 Wrightsboro Road, Grovetown, GA. For those unable to attend in person, the service will also be available via Zoom (Meeting ID: 585-196-853, Passcode: 8318).
