Marian E Stephens

Marian Elizabeth Wright Stephens gained her wings and passed peacefully at home with family and loved ones surrounding her on 5-28-2026. To all who loved her and knew her she loved them back a little bit more. She leaves behind to cherish her memory the love of her life Larry Stephens who for 70 years were as one. Sons Richard Stephens (Cynthia), Anthony Stephens, her Granddaughter Trista Marie Stephens, Sisters Marlene McBride, Juanita Wright & Elaine Dixon all of Theodore, Alabama. Along with many nieces and Nephews.

 She is pre-deceased by her parents Eli & Gracey Wright along with Sister Cheryl Lynn Wright, brothers Robert Bruce Wright and Douglas McArthur Wright. She was born April 26,1937 in Meridian, Mississippi and married December 24th, 1955. She was a retired employee of Kendall Corporation, a founding member of Solomons Porch Pentecostal Church and even after retirement the two of them raised foster children for 16 years and had a passion for running a flea market booth along with craft shows for over 40 years. She loved Jesus, church, her family, travel and the joy of being alive. 

The Stephens family would like to offer a very special thanks to the great team at Crescent Hospice and a great friend and caregiver Shirley Bethune who have made this transition so much easier this past year. In lieu of flowers it is requested to make a charitable donation to the American Lung Association. At American Lung Association.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday June 2, 2026 from 3-5 pm with a service following @ Fairhaven Funeral Home , 3507 Wrightsboro Rd. Augusta, GA. 30909 .Interment is private .
