Augusta, GA. Margie Barton, age 77, of Hephzibah, passed away Thursday, August 21, 2014, at her residence with her family surrounding her. She was born January 30, 1937, to the late Alfred A. and Lula B. Skinner Lee.She was preceded in death by her husband, Levin C. Barton. She is survived by her children; Tony (Laura) Stewart of Augusta; Mary Frances Stewart of Hephzibah; Dorothy Wildes of Midland City, AL. and Tracy Williams of Hephzibah;2 grandchildren; 1 sister, Gloria Steffen of Hephzibah and 1 brother, James E. Lee of Hephzibah. Family will receive friends Monday 6 pm to 8 pm at THE POTEET FUNERAL HOME, 3465 Peach Orchard Rd. HWY 25, Augusta, 30906. Funeral Services will be Tuesday at 10 am at the funeral home chapel.Burial to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
