Margaret Alda (Brantley) King of Evans, GA July 8,1941 - March 19, 2026

Margaret King, 84, formerly of Oakton, VA, passed peacefully from complications of vascular dementia on March 19, 2026 in Evans, GA. She was born in Middlesex, NC to the late Winslow and Lottie Brantley.

Surviving family members are her daughter and son-in-law Kelly and Nick Adams; grandchildren, Madelyn (Brandon) Gregoire, Abigail (Jared) Stebbins, Grayson Adams; great-grandchildren, Chaseton, Sabelle and Pierson Gregoire, Eileen and Cora Stebbins.

Preceding Margaret in death was her son, Mark Anthony King; her parents, Winslow Newsome and Lottie Hopkins Brantley; her siblings, Eloise Brantley and Julian Brantley.

A private family service was held in her honor and she is interred at Westover Memorial Park Cemetery in Augusta, GA.
