Lori Beth Currie

Lori Beth Currie, 40 entered into rest with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on March 14, 2022.

Lori was a lifelong resident of Martinez, GA and a 2000 graduate of Evans High School. She played fastpitch ball for the Lady Knights. Lori went on to graduate from Augusta Tech where she received her LPN license. Lori loved her family, especially her two boys Daniel and Truman (SJ). She enjoyed cooking, the beach, and spending with family and friends.

She is survived by her parents: Doug and Linda Thompson of Martinez; sister: Lisa Hill (Chad) and niece Reid Hill of Evans; her sons: Daniel Currie and Truman (SJ) Currie of Martinez; her paternal grandfather: Henry Earl Thompson; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents: Luther and Kitty Reid; and paternal grandmother: Carolyn Thompson.

Celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, March 26,2022 at Stevens Creek Church, 600 Stevens Creek Road, Augusta, Georgia 30907. At 2:00 pm. The family will receive friends at the church at 1:00-2:00 pm.
