Augusta, GA Linda F. Burnham, age 68, passed away Saturday, January 24, 2015, at her residence with her family surrounding her. She was born August 29, 1946 in Blackshear, GA., to the late Mallie and Lucille A. Pearson Kent. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack F. Burnham and one sister, Lawana Hill. She is survived by her children; Chuck (Elena) of Colorado Springs, CO., and 1 daughter, Lavonna Burnham-Smith of Augusta, GA.; 4 grandchildren, Tristan Parker of Foley, AL., Angellica Burnham of Colorado Springs, CO., Brittany Strickland of Hephzibah, GA., and Lynsey Smith of Augusta, GA.; 4 great grandchildren, Kaileigh Strickland, Kameron Strickland, Brett Parker and Elijah Washington; 3 brothers, Horrell (Diane) Kent of Rockingham, N.C., Robert (Betty) Kent of Brooksville, FL, and Donald (Nancy) Kent of Boynton Beach, FL., and one sister, Debbie (Gordon) Henderson of Alma, GA. Family will receive friends Tuesday 6 pm to 8 pm at THE POTEET FUNERAL HOME, 3465 Peach Orchard Rd., HWY 25, Augusta, 30906. Services will be Wednesday at 11 am at THE POTEET FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL with Chaplain Tom Kalliokoski, officiating. Burial to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.Pallbearers will be Larry Hendrix, Chris Kent, Robert Leonard Kent, Rick Kent, Darrin Kent and Gary Hill.
