Laura Gendreau

Mrs. Laura Gendreau, 84, went home on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at Westwood Nursing Home after a long battle withAlzheimer’s. Wife of the late Donald Gendreau and her first husband Fred Lumley. Mrs. Laura a native of Norman, OK lived most of her life in California and moved to Evans in 2010 where she was a member of First Baptist Church of Augusta. Survivors include her son, Tom Lumley (Sue); daughters, Bev Vargas (Bill); Wanda Pinaula (Tony) and ten grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Brenda and son, Gary and grandson, Joey. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, May 21, 2017 at 3:00 pm at First Baptist Church Storey Chapel with Dr. Greg DeLoach officiating. The family will receive friends at 2:00 pm at Storey Chapel with burial to be held inGarden of Memories Salinas, CA.
