Mrs. Katie Gipson North Augusta, S.C. Mrs. Katie Gipson, 94, wife of the late J.C. Gipson, entered into rest Tuesday September 8, 2015. Mrs. Gipson was a native of Canton, Ohio, but spent the last 25 years in the Augusta area. She is survived by her daughter, Marilyn (Joseph) Sleister; grandchildren, Terry Sleister, Annie Hinds, Dusty Brown, and Courtney Leigh; and great-grandchildren Jordan Hines, Joey, Madison, and Emily Sleister,. The family will receive friends at their residence (309 Merrymont Dr., Martinez, GA 30907) on Saturday September 12th from 3 – 6 p.m.
