Joseph Reuben Washburn, 89, of Martinez, Georgia went to be with the Lord on April 24, 2026.
He was born to Lewis and Edith Washburn on October 6, 1936.
Joseph is survived by his loving wife, Helga Eller; sons, Allen and Jeff Washburn; stepson, Michael Eller; stepdaughter, Dana (Chris) Niehus; sisters, Norma Burns, Brenda Durden and Bonita Schultz; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and son, Steve Washburn.
Graveside services with full military honors will be held at 12pm on Friday, May 1, 2026 at Bellevue Memorial Gardens. The family will fellowship at St. James Methodist Church following the services.
