James A. Sizemore

Augusta, Ga. entered into rest February 14, 2014 at the Georgia War Veterans Nursing Home. Mr. Sizemore 89, loving husband of the late Clara F. Sizemore. Mr. Sizemore was born in Hazard, KY. He moved to Augusta in 1962, after being honorably discharged from the Military receiving the Purple Heart and three Bronze Star Medals. He was carpenter by profession. Family members include Melinda Ford, Granddaughter, Nieces, Clare Riley and Debbie Ratliff of Kentucky, Menia Mongold of Augusta. And Patricia Ford of North Augusta, SC. He was preceded in death by his wife, Stepson Jimmy Ford, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Sizemore and Sisters Lucille Stamper and Jean Ratliff. He was of the Baptist Faith. Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 am Monday at Warrenville, SC., and Cemetery. Rev. Charles Broom officiating. The family will receive friends after the service.
