James Mudcat Roberson

James Weaver “Mudcat” Roberson Owner-Operator Truck Driver Born January 23rd, 1927 in Lincoln County, GA, and retired as an Owner-Operator Truck Driver. He was a Christian and loved his time with The Lord every day, especially the day of his homecoming, January 25th, 2015. He is survived by two sons, Kirk Roberson (Jean) and Barry Roberson (Bonnie); three step-children; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one sister, Onelia Poss; one niece; two nephews; and five great nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 1:00 p.m. at McNeill Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. at McNeill Funeral Home. Burial will be at Bellevue at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or to a charity of your choice.
