James Dale Oellerich

Mr. James (Dale) Oellerich Of Hephzibah Ga. was entered into rest and the arms of his Savior Jesus Christ on August 10 2025.

Mr. Dale is survived by his loving wife, Nancy Oellerich; son, Seth (Patricia) Oellerich; step-son, Tony (Yvonne) Simmons; daughter-in-law, Andrea Oellerich and many grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents William C. Oellerich, Jr. and Margie Oellerich and two sons, Clay Oellerich ( Andrea) and Patrick Oellerich.

Mr. Dale after receiving his GED from High School joined the United States Navy where he served aboard ship in Vietnam during the war. After his discharge from the Navy Mr. Dale began a life of study and service. He attended Aiken Tech were he received certificates in Electricity I, II AND III. He also received certificates in Motor Maintenance from Cleveland Electric, Basic Industrial Safety from GSC, National Sales Training from National Insurance Company, Defensive Driving course by the National Safety Council and several courses by Comp USA about computers.

Mr. Dale during his lifetime worked as and Electrician and as an Over the road truck Driver and was known for his Cowboy hat and Boots. But, he found his true calling in Ministry serving his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Mr. Dale received a Batchelor in Theology from Southern Bible Institute and Seminary and was Ordained in The ministry of Helps by Open Arms Community Church. He continued his Christian education through Light Learning Institute receiving certificates in Breaking Free, Sexual Addiction, Marriage Workshop and Caring for people God’s Way. Mr. Dale taught and was involved in Prison Ministry with Open Arms Community Church and was a faithful member and Sunday School teacher of The Building Worship Center.

Mr. Dale will be missed and remembered by the many people he touched during his lifetime. In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to The Building Worship Center 2240 Bayvale Rd Augusta Ga 30909.

A Celebration of life will be held Tuesday, August 19, 2025 at 4PM at The Building Worship Center. 2240 Bayvale Rd. Augusta, Ga 30909
