James Gordon Reese

Mr. James Gordon Reese, age 78, of Appling, Georgia, formerly of Augusta, Georgia and Barnwell, SC, passed into rest at home, Thursday, July 12, 2018. He was the son of the late Leon Clifford Reese and Louise Tant Reese of Barnwell. Mr. Reese served in the US Air Force, worked for National Cash Register Co., also Inglett & Company of Augusta, Georgia for 28 years, and after retirement spent time with his friends at Reese Saw Shop in Harlem, Georgia. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Sue Jenkins Reese, son Eric Carlton Parker, daughter in law Kimberly Wright Parker, and granddaughter Katherine Elizabeth Parker, all of Appling. Also, brothers-In-Law, Allyn Terry Jenkins, wife Lynn, of Boynton Beach, Florida and Tom N. Jenkins, wife Barbara, of Melbourne, Florida and their families. A private memorial service to be held.
