Augusta, GA. Inez “Tudie” McIntosh, beloved wife of the late James L. McIntosh, US Army Retired, went home to be with Her Lord, Monday, September 15, 2014. She was born and raised in Denver, CO. and made Augusta her home in 1975.She was preceded in death by her parents, John F. and Sadie Valerio Garcia and her siblings, Benita Stulting, Adeline Horton and Johnnie Garcia. She is survived by her daughters, Lynne (Lonnie) Badis of Las Vegas, NV and Karin (Jimmy) Dickens of Hephzibah, GA., one son, James (Sandra) McIntosh of Athens, GA.; grandchildren, Josh Badis, Joey (Jessica) Dickens, Jessica (Michael) Waters and James McIntosh; great grandchildren, Josh Badis, Grace Dickens, Samantha Dickens, Leah Dickens, Victoria Dickens and Clarice Dickens.Special friends, Terry and Georgia Geiger and her faithful companion, Brewser. Tudie loved “her” Atlanta Braves and was an avid bowler and took frequent trips to Las Vegas and Atlantic City.She was known for her “Tudieisms”. Family is especially grateful to Eisenhower Army Medical Center and Homestead Hospice for her loving care while honoring her wishes to pass peacefully at home with her family surrounding her. Memorial Services will be Saturday 3 pm at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church, 4921 Columbia Rd, Grovetown, GA 30813 with Father Ingram, Celebrant.
