Herman Stapleton

Herman Stapleton also known as “Pid”, 78, of Jackson, SC went home to be with The Lord on Tuesday May 17, 2022. Born in West Green, GA to Kenneth and Lizzie Lott December 18, 1943. Herman served in the United States Navy, Navy reserves, and retired from Savannah River Nuclear Solutions. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Florence Stapleton; daughter Victoria DiLorenzo and her husband Michael. five grandchildren; Alexis DiLorenzo, Joseph Brooks and his wife Hannah, Tyler Brooks, Bailey Dross and her husband Patrick, and Kirsten DiLorenzo; three great grandchildren; Jackson, Layton and Reagan Dross; sister Vivian Blackstone; brother Dwain Stapleton; two sisters-in-law; Judy Lott and Jackie Cartee; twenty-one nieces and nephews; fifty great nieces and nephews. Herman was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Lott and sister, Mary Catherine Jenks, a nephew Tony Thomas and his wife Dotty. A Memorial service will be held, 4 PM Saturday May 21, 2022 at Souls Harvest Church, 18699 Atomic Rd, Jackson, SC with Pastor Brad Jay, officiating. Family will receive friends following the service.
