Helen Ruth (Carroll) Riba

Helen Ruth (Carroll) Riba, 96, passed away on September 6, 2026, after a brief illness.

Helen was born November 23, 1929, in Brock, OK to D. Graham and Stella Carroll.

As a teenager, she moved with her family to Tulsa, OK where she graduated from Will Rogers High School.

In 1999 she moved to Evans, GA with her son and his family.

In addition to being a proud mother, grandmother and family matriarch,

Helen was a lifetime member in the Masonic affiliated Order of the Eastern Star and Amaranth. She maintained active memberships in both

Oklahoma and Georgia chapters, serving as Royal Matron in Tulsa, OK.

Helen was preceded in death by her father, mother, three sisters, one brother, three daughters, and one granddaughter.

She is survived by her son, Reese (Louise) and their two children, Adrean (Ashley) and Garrett (Kara) and their 3 children. Additional survivors include seven grandchildren (three spouses), seventeen great grandchildren (three spouses), and six great-great-grandchildren.

Services for Helen will be held at 2:30 P.M. on Monday September 14 at Fairhaven Funeral Home in Augusta, GA.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks you to consider a donation to the Arthritis Foundation in memory of her long battle with Rheumatoid Arthritis.
