Glenn T. Horne

Glenn T. Horne of Augusta, GA. passed away at his home, surrounded by his loving family, on Monday September 8, 2025. Glenn was born in Philadelphia, PA on July 7,1957 to Jesse and Iris Horne. He was blessed to be raised by his grandmother, Mabel Horn on Bayvale Road in Augusta. He married Veronica Kirkland on May 9, 1981. They were married over 44 years. Glenn was a drywall mechanic for most of his working life. He enjoyed camping with his family at Hunting Island, SC State Park. He also enjoyed Nascar races, shooting, pool, and bowling.

Glenn is survived by his wife Veronica, his 3 stepsons: David Chalker Jr, Michael Chalker, and Chris Chalker. Six grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and a special cousin Debbie Beasley. Glenn was predeceased in death by his parents, grandmother, and two brothers.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday September 15th at Hillcrest Memorial Cemetery.
