Martinez, GA. Gary James Reynolds, age 53, of Martinez, passed away Sunday, September 13, 2015 at his residence with his loving family surrounding him. He was born June 1, 1962 in Erlangen, Germany to Robert Eugene Reynolds and his beloved mother, Elizabeth Gronning Reynolds.Gary was a member of the Silvercrest Baptist Church.Gary began his Club Car career as an assembler on the DS Golf Car line in April 1989.Gary moved to Add-On shop in 1992.During his time in the Add-On shop, Gary received special recognition for “doing whatever it takes” to help resolve a quality issue for our customers and ensure the quality of our product.In 1997, Gary served on the Quality Committee, where he and colleagues developed a quality program through which employees were recognized for outstanding quality.Gary was promoted to a Production Set-Up Operator in 2003 and then moved into a temporary and then full time Master Assembler position on the Utility Line in 2004.Gary successfully mastered any line at which he was assigned.He loved his job and he loved his Club Car Family. He is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Shirley Johnikin Reynolds; stepchildren, Ponda Ann Sims, Thomas Eugene Stringfield and Timothy David Stringfield; Stephanie Jean Human (daughter/granddaughter) Dakota Ray Sims (his beloved grandson); other grandchildren, Syrenity Stringfield, Devin Stringfield, Garrett Stringfield and Timothy David Stringfield, Jr.; 1 sister, Marilyn Reynolds Cason; 2 brothers, Robert Michael Reynolds and Raymond Joseph Reynolds; niece and nephews, Morgan, Tanner and Mathew Reynolds along with several other nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be Thursday 11 am at the funeral home with Rev.
