Frank Oliver Beard

Frank Oliver Beard was born on August 20, 1945 to the late Lucille Dawkins and Adam Flono in Augusta, GA. He entered into rest on Friday, June 3, 2022 at Doctor’s Hospital in Augusta, GA. He was baptized at an early age and attended Gospel Water Branch Baptist Church and always trusted in the Lord. He was always a hardworking man that had many trades, with construction being his primary occupation and being a mechanic his second. In 1962 he moved to Philadelphia, PA where he met his wife Gwendolyn and went on to have two children. He is preceded in death by his sister, Rosa Mae Bryson; brother, Booker T. Dawkins; and numerous aunts, uncles, brothers and sisters-in-law. He leaves to cherish a host of family members and was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, husband and friend to many who he touched throughout his life. Services will be held at 1PM on Saturday June 11, 2022 at Gospel Water Branch Baptist Church 703 Fury’s Ferry Road, Evans, GA 30809.
