Mrs. Florence Ellen Gibson Homemaker Martinez, Ga. entered into rest January 31, 2014 at Doctors Hospital. Mrs. Florence Ellen Gibson. Mrs. Gibson was a lifelong resident of the Augusta area born January 4,1944 in Aiken, SC to Marvin and Mary Shores. She is survived by her companion, Mike Barr; sons, Anthony N. Gibson, Nashville, TN., Tim Gibson; Martinez, Ga., daughter, Terri Gibson; Clearwater, SC., brothers, Sammy and Joe Shores; sisters, Christine Wise and Sarah Scott. Grandsons, Daniel Gibson; Damien Mitchell. A celebration of Mrs. Gibson’s life will be at McNeill Funeral Home Monday starting at 2:00 pm.
