Elizabeth G. Ham

Hephzibah, Georgia Elizabeth G. Ham, of Hephzibah, entered into rest on Thursday, June 2, 2016.She was 85 years old. Mrs. Ham was born on July 28, 1930 in Glasgow, Scotland to the late Samuel Gormal and Katherine Gormal.Prior to her retirement, she worked for the Social Security Administration.She was a member of the Daughters of Scotia, Lady Cameron California Lodge 64, Elks Club of California, and the United Scottish Society in California. Mrs. Ham is survived by her son, Alan Ham and her daughter in law Jeannette Ham; four grandchildren, Christopher Ham, Melissa Reese, Patricia Dasher, Joseph Ham; two great grandchildren, Caitlyn Dasher and Caleb Dasher; her adopted children, Paul Hallo, Raymond Hallo, Arlene Peacock, and Tommy Hallo. Mrs. Ham was preceded in death by her husband, Emory Jerome Ham; and her adopted son, Edwin Hallo Jr. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at the Poteet Funeral Home Chapel, 3465 Peach Orchard Road, Augusta, Georgia with Chaplain Dusty Wammack officiating.
