Elaine Aliese McIver entered her heavenly home June 7, 2026. She was born January 3, 1938 in Tampa, Florida the daughter of James Randolph and Elizabeth Reynolds. She lived most of her life in South Carolina and Florida but loved to travel and experienced life to the fullest. She was also an early advocate of organic gardening and the benefits of healthy nutrition and practiced what she preached.

She graduated from Jackson High School in 1956 and was a talented florist, gardener, and homemaker. She was a devout Christian; faithful to the churches wherever she lived. As a longtime member of First Baptist Jackson, she founded a Parents Without Partners class, that ministered to single adults. Her greatest passion and achievement were her unique ability to blend families and people together. She always exhibited a gentle, non-judgmental spirit that drew people to her. She taught parenting and grandparenting by example.

Survivors included four sons and daughters-in law, Bill and Nadine McIver, Atlanta, Ronny and Rose McIver, Evans, Kaye McIver, Jackson, Randy McIver Cunningham, Tampa and Darren and Sherry McIver, Aiken and many beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her daughters, Cathy Williams, Maxine Lee, Elizabeth Peterson, Jennie Watts and son, Donny McIver.

Those wishing to make a donation in her honor can do so to the First Baptist Church Jackson, S.C.

Services will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. June 13, 2026 at First Baptist Church Jackson, S.C.
