Edith Mildred Aldred

Augusta, Ga. entered into rest December 8, 2013 at her residence. Mrs. Edith Phillips Aldred wife of the late Mr. Albert Irby Aldred. Mrs. Aldred a native of Wrens, Ga., she was member of Reedy Creek Baptist Church. She worked at Lil Tulip and at Gracewood State School and Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 11:00 am at Marvin United Methodist Church with Pastor Elizabeth Ackerman officiating. Interment will follow at Wrens City Cemetery in Wrens; Ga. Mrs. Aldred will lie in state at the church 1 hour prior to service. She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Ford, Augusta, Ga. Grandchildren, Johnny Phillips and Angela Hall. Step-grandchildren, Kaylee Phillips, Josh Cunningham. Five great grandchildren and two step great-grandchildren.
