Earline Ruth Hoffman

Jul 7, 1945 — Jul 14, 2026

Evans

Earline “Bunny” Ruth Hoffman, 81, of Evans, Georgia went to be with the Lord on July 14, 2026. Bunny was born on July 7, 1945 to Earl and Ruth Hosack in San Diego, California.

To know Bunny was to love her. She was as outspoken and direct – no mincing words or mixed messages – as she was kind and compassionate. As a phlebotomist, she spent many years as a Certified Nursing Assistant at assisted living facilities. She embodied generosity, always giving of herself without expectation or hesitation and was passionate about caring for others.

Bunny loved music from the 1950s, often pulling family and friends into spontaneous dance sessions. Those who knew her best will fondly recall her silly dances and humorous renditions of song lyrics. Her faith and love for God was of paramount importance. That faith instilled other qualities like servitude and resilience that she called upon many times throughout the years.

Her strength and independence were ever present as she raised her children and throughout her years alongside two wonderful husbands, Kenneth Dale Parker, who she loved for over 23 years and Theodore Bradley Hoffman for over 15 years before cancer took them from her.

To cherish her memory, Bunny leaves her son, Dewayne (Patricia) Mead; stepson, Jeremy Hoffman; sisters, Gerri Hosack and Barbara Keierleber; brother, Allen (Ann) Hosack; grandchildren, Chase Mead, Amanda Mead, Austin Hoffman, Taylor Hoffman and Chris Stephens as well as numerous nieces, nephews and great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Bunny’s honor can be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital https://www.stjude.org/donate/donate-to-st-jude.html?sc_icid=header-btn-donate-now.
