Doye Lee Corley

Augusta, Georgia – Mr. Doye Lee Corley, of Augusta, died on Sunday, December 8, 2013.He was 71 years old. Mr. Corley is survived by his wife, Margaret E. Corley; his son, Troy Moore; his sister, Marie Stephens, of Hephzibah, Georgia; his brothers, Richard Corley and Warren Corley, both of Augusta. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Wayne Corley and Owen Corley. Mr. Corley was born in Waynesboro, Georgia.He was a veteran of the United States Army.Mr. Corley was a truck driver for Colonial Bakery and a member of Hopeful Baptist Church. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 11, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at The Poteet Funeral Home, 3465 Peach Orchard Road, Augusta. Graveside services will be conducted on Thursday, December 12, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Hillcrest Memorial Park.Rev. Greg Glover will officiate.
