Donald Stevens

Donald Stevens 64, beloved husband of Pauline Stevens entered into rest on Saturday January 27, 2018 at his residence. A celebration of his life will be held 11AM Saturday February 3, 2018 at Poteet Funeral Home, 3465 Peach Orchard Road, Augusta. Inurnment will be following in West View Cemetery with military honors accorded by the Ceremonial Detachment of the U.S. Air Force. Survivors include his wife; son and daughter-in-law Aaron Craig (Sandy) Stevens; daughter Jessica Lain Stevens; brother Johnnie J. “Bo” Stevens, Jr.; sisters and brothers-in-law Shirley White; Patricia Ponder; Christine O’Neal; Mona (Judson) Howell; Connie (Steven)Bridges ,Rose Puckett and Kathy (David) Smith; grandson Danyeal Turner ; He was preceded in death by his parents Johnnie J. Stevens Sr. and Jean Stevens ; brother Thomas Stevens ;sister Betty Ruth Still; sister-in-law Cassie Stevens; brothers-in-law George Ponder, Leslie O’Neal and Jimmy Puckett. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Saturday morning at the funeral home.
