Donald R. Ford, Sr

Biography Mr. Donald R. Ford, Sr. Retired Civil Service Augusta, Ga. Mr. Donald R. Ford, Sr., went home to be with the Lord with his family by his side at Trinity Hospital on October 22, 2013. He is preceded in death by his wife Peggy E. Ford and their son, Donald R. Ford, Jr. He is survived by his children, Ken Ford, Mike Ford, and Cynthia Kay Anthony, all of Augusta, Ga., brother, John (Mack) Ford of Grovetown, Ga., four grandchildren; Heather Schiebel (Mike), Stephanie Brown (George), Jennifer Peck (John), and Isaac Anthony. He was also loved by five great grandchildren and many friends. Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 1:00 pm at Bellevue Memorial Gardens Chapel with. Rev. Jack Kimbrel & Pastor Les Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Bellevue with Military Honors. Mr. Ford a native of Augusta and he proudly served his country thru the U.S. Navy, U.S. Army and the Reserves. He retired from Civil Service as a mechanic. He was a member of Victory Baptist Church. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 6:00-8:00 pm.
