Dixie V. Hand

Mrs. Dixie V. Hand Augusta, GA. Mrs. Dixie Hand, wife of the late Charles Hand, entered into rest Thursday June 11th, 2015. Mrs. Hand was a life long native of Augusta, where she worked as a bus driver for the Richmond County Board of Education and was a faithful member of New Hope Worship Center. She is survived by her sons, Jeff (Pamela) Hand, David (Linda) Hand, and Greg (Penny) Hand; daughter, Dana (Eddie) Boyd; niece, Angela (Johnny) Waldorf; eleven grandchildren, eight great-grand children, and two great-great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday June 14th at New Hope Worship Center with PastorRich Bowenofficiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service. A private burial will be held Monday June 15th at West View Cemetery.
